No teacher ever wrote, “She’s a natural-born leader,” on my report card. My leadership journey was anything but smooth—I faced challenges, endured losses, and made more epic f###k ups than I’d like to admit. But with every stumble, I learned. I read countless books by renowned leaders like Covey, Maxwell, and Lencioni. I sought advice from experts and closely observed other leaders. When it came time for me to develop the next generation of leaders, the teacher in me knew there had to be a simpler way to learn leadership. Could we create a taxonomy? Why not?
